In my role as VP of Private and Business Banking, I'm ready to provide leadership and expertise towards community service and educating youth and elderly patrons in Southwest Virginia.
Born and raised in the South Side of Chicago, I identified a desire to help others change their lives at an early age through credit education and home ownership. I saw financial literacy as a way to help change the trajectories of families and urban and rural communities as a form of sustainable transformation.
For the past 10+ years, I've equipped individuals, families, and business owners with knowledge and resources to ameliorate their lives and pioneer paths to a healthy financial future.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, watching Jeopardy and SharkTank, and serving others. I currently reside in Christiansburg with my wife, Dr. Crasha Townsend.
